Australian-born & Montreal-based artist Dexter Crowe is a producer and DJ with an inimitable sound cut from the cloth of global dance experiences. His sound journeys effortlessly through an array of styles, built upon a foundation of infectious groove, touching melodies, and soul-soothing basslines. His signature selections draw from the space between light and dark, joy and release, emotion and sensation. Through a deep commitment to the grassroots artistic community, Dexter is a vital pillar of the Montreal underground scene. With regular shows at the likes of Stereo Montreal, Piknic Electronik, PY1, and MTelus, he has been turning heads on a worldwide scale, sharing the decks with the likes of Chloe Caillet, Oona Dahl, Tim Engelhardt, Blondish, Kora, & Modd.

His productions carry the essence of his unique DJing style, blending genres and energies to create what is already emerging as his own fresh signature sound. This sound has already garnered DJ support from heavyweights like Hernan Cattaneo, Sebastien Leger, Atish, Kora, Ame, Marcus Worgull & Robbie Akbal. He has signed a string of releases to Kora’s ‘Saisons Musique’, When We Dip’s ‘XYZ’, as well as his home label Halaken Collective, co-founded with the legendary Turkish artist Mercan Dede as a platform for multimedia collaborations, events, and multidisciplinary exploration. A dedicated proponent of the international electronic music community, he is also the founder & host of the When We Dip Radio series on Ibiza Sonica, hosting more than 250 episodes to date.
