Born in Beyrouth, Lebanon and now based in Montreal, Canada, Joseph Crime’s passion for music began by accident when his parents signed him up for classical piano lessons. It was only many years later that his love of music evolved from a passion for listening and experiencing into the meticulous art of producing.
His productions explore the theme of consciousness through hypnotic and melodic contours, and are infused with melancholic, emotional, and deep undertones.
After his debut EP “Polaris” on Trippy Code Records, he quickly climbed Beatport’s melodic and progressive house charts and joined Nora En Pure’s Purified Records on their best of 2021 compilation. His latest EP on Purified has been supported by melodic house giants including Nora En Pure and Sultan & Sheppard, and was featured on Spotify’s massive “Chill Tracks” & “Mint” playlists.
