We want to thank everyone that came to Tune-Up #1 at the Sanctuary this past Saturday (March 11th, 2023). Kolophane warmed up the stage and set the mood to a positive high for the rest of the night. Gio-Z delivered a strong performance with highly original tracks. 6RAJ played a set of almost entirely original music, which the crowd clearly loved. Infiltr kept the energy high as the night went on and Yorel closed down The Sanctuary with gusto. In short, it was a highly successful event and we were seriously impressed both with the artists and the welcoming and friendly crowd!
Concept
With Tune-Up #1, we wanted to showcase artists that we haven’t regularly seen in the Montreal scene. We wanted to hear music beyond the Beatport Top 100. We wanted to provide exposure to artists that clearly deserve it in a unique way. We believe we accomplished these goals and we are honored that Kolophane, Gio-Z, 6RAJ, Infiltr, and Yorel could all be apart of this concept. These talents confirmed our core belief: Montreal has incredible artists that deserve a bigger spotlight.
We hope you enjoyed this new project at The Sanctuary. As you experienced, it is a venue known for its welcoming and jovial atmosphere, its intimate environment that is conducive to networking, and its legendary sound quality.

Look out for future opportunities both with Dome of Faith and MTL Electronic Music. We intend to offer more opportunities that build upon the goals outlined in this initial project. Fundamentally, both Dome of Faith and MTL Electronic Music aim to elevate the local scene by building opportunities for the artists that make it so great. We are all better off for it.
