Rehab Hazgui is a Tunisian composer and sound ecologist. Her artworks explore ways to learn new forms of languages through conscious listening and the relationship that beings have with their culture, heritage, society and landscape as involved and living participants. Her research examines the ways in which sound emerges through dynamic landscapes, including those that are biological, geophysical, and of human consequences. Rehab Hazgui’s primary focus is the act of listening to oneself, as it relates to our perception of space, our relationship to it, and the profound level of engagement that our ears provide with the world.

As 2020 turned into a nightmare for many of us, Julie/Anne rose to the occasion, leaving an indelible mark in music lovers’ hearts.

Musician, producer, DJ, and sound engineer George Zeitoun, GIO-z started his career as a commercial pop music DJ in 2003. He spent a few years as a resident DJ in many nightclubs in Syria, Lebanon, and Qatar. He performed many big and small gigs as a main or opening DJ in those countries. After moving to Montreal in 2019, he has brought the same to Montreal. Gio-Z developed his style by harmonizing several music cultures and combining them into cohesive tracks.

A French artist of Martinique and Guadeloupean origin, Airon has been immersed in music from a very young age thanks to his musician father. With a rather hip-hop dancehall background, Airon met electronic music in 2015 in a Parisian club. Influenced by Afro House, Tech House, Afro Tech, Melodic Techno, and Organic House, Airon mixes and produces with the support of friends and the artists he works with.

The duo gained worldwide attention by releasing songs on labels like Cube Recordings, Housesession, and Hotfingers, which led them to tour the world and DJ in the best clubs in the world.

Stereo is a nightclub and afterhours club that primarily books melodic & progressive house and techno artists. It is known for its incredible sound system, which is both precise and thunderous. It has one of the best, if not the best sound systems in Montreal. Stereo is a sound temple for many. Some go to Stereo after a night out elsewhere, while others show up at midnight. Some even go to sleep, then wake up in the dusk of the night to show up to dance in Stereo until the sun rises and beyond.
